YOUR DATA

Know what you share.

Your goals and reflections belong to you. Here is what DSCPLN uses to provide the app.

Pre-launch notice: hosting locations, international transfer safeguards and provider retention arrangements are being verified before public sales.

Who is responsible

Dominic Bertschin, Hauptstrasse 11, 4494 Oltingen, Switzerland. For access, correction, deletion or another privacy request, email hello@joindscpln.com.

Information used by DSCPLN

  • Sign-in: Clerk provides Google and email sign-in. DSCPLN receives your account identifier, verified email and available name. If you connect an earlier account, its identifier is linked only after you confirm both sign-ins. DSCPLN does not receive your Google password.
  • Your activity: display name, timezone, goals, selected weekdays, completion records, reflections, mood entries, focus sessions, current arc and past arcs. Rewards are calculated from this activity.
  • Profile picture: a cropped, resized version of the photo you choose. The app re-encodes it before uploading.
  • Optional reminders: selected reminder times and days, device push subscriptions and encryption keys, and recent delivery records. Your browser’s push service (such as Apple or Google) relays encrypted notifications. Lock-screen messages contain a neutral reminder, never your goal name or reflections. Turn them off per goal or per device; account deletion removes saved subscriptions. Delivery records older than three days are cleared by the next successful reminder run.
  • Community: crew membership, shared check-ins and support reactions.
  • Purchases: checkout reference, account link, order identifier, payment mode and access/refund status. DSCPLN sends your account email to prefill checkout. Card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, not DSCPLN.
  • Support: information you choose to send by email. Avoid sending passwords, card details or unnecessary sensitive information.

We use this information to run your account, sync progress, provide the crew features you choose, verify access, process support and protect the service. Where applicable, these purposes rely on performance of our agreement, legal obligations and legitimate interests in reliable, secure operation. Optional uploads and crew posts are under your control.

Who can see what

Your personal goal details, reflections and focus records are not shared with your crew. Crew members can see your display name, photo, today’s goal completion counts and the check-ins you share. Anyone with your crew invite code can request to join while there is space and they have DSCPLN access; share it carefully.

OpenAI Sites provides hosting; Clerk provides account authentication (Google and email), with ChatGPT sign-in used only when connecting an earlier account; the app uses Cloudflare-backed database and image storage through Sites. Lemon Squeezy provides payment processing. Support emails go to the Gmail address above. These providers process information needed for their services under their applicable policies. Operational logs may contain technical request and error information.

Storage, tracking and transfers

DSCPLN stores account activity until you delete it or request removal. We retain the purchase link while it is needed to provide access. Deleting your DSCPLN account removes its active app records, photo and purchase link, as well as its Clerk login and account connection. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own legal obligations. Support correspondence may be kept while resolving your request and any resulting dispute.

We have not added advertising pixels or marketing analytics. Hosting and sign-in may use necessary cookies or storage. We will update this notice and implement required choices before adding advertising measurement.

Providers may process information outside Switzerland, including in the United States. The specific processing countries, transfer safeguards and backup retention applicable to this hosting setup must be confirmed before launch; this notice will be completed with those details.

Your controls and rights

Export your data or delete your DSCPLN account, including after paid access ends. Change your profile in Settings, remove your photo, or leave a crew. Exported copies and copies other crew members made cannot be recalled. Deletion from provider backups follows the provider’s retention cycle; it is not an instant deletion of every backup.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact us first so we can verify the request without exposing someone else’s data. You can also contact the relevant data protection authority, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
